Chris Mendoza on the trail in the Pacific Northwest

The person behind it

Hey, I'm Chris.

I'm a developer and machinist based in the Pacific Northwest. I picked up mountain biking at the start of 2026 and quickly became that person who cares way too much about keeping their bike properly maintained.

I already used apps to track maintenance on my car — oil changes, tire rotations, the works. When I started riding seriously I went looking for something similar for bikes and couldn't find anything that felt right. Most options were either mobile-only, buried in a broader fitness app, or built for shops rather than riders.

So I built RidePrint. The goal was simple: make it a web app so anyone could use it from any device, keep it focused on maintenance rather than fitness, and make the history actually travel with the bike when it changes hands. If you sell a bike that's been properly maintained, you should be able to prove it.

I've lived in the PNW for over 20 years and spend as much time as I can in the mountains. RidePrint is built for the kind of cyclist who actually cares about what's been done to their bike — because I am one.

What I do

Freelance development

Full-stack web apps — Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase. I build things that are meant to actually be used, not just look good in a demo.

Precision machining

I work as a machinist by trade. It turns out the mindset of making something exactly right, with no tolerance for slop, carries over pretty well into software.
